Who are we?
The Madrid Players is an
amateur English‑language theatre group based in Madrid, founded more than thirty years ago.
There are nearly 60 members of many different nationalities, mostly from
English‑speaking countries, but also Spaniards and others with a good
level of English.
Some of our members
sing, some dance, and most act, but not all!
Others are more interested
in assisting with production or helping out with set‑construction or
wardrobe.
Besides performing
and preparing for shows, we also do workshops and play-readings in our
Clubhouse. We usually have something going on every week, but this may just
be rehearsals when there is a busy rehearsal schedule. Go to CLUBHOUSE to see

The membership fee
is 30 euros per year. This entitles you to be in shows (if cast!),
attend workshops and other activities, and obtain discounts on tickets for
some of our shows, as well as receiving our monthly News and Views
newsletter.
DVDs and Videos
Did you miss last year's
pantomime, or would you just like to see it again? DVD's and Videos of the
pantomime are available at 10 euros and 8 euros respectively. Send an email
